Receive Customer Referrals from Using Essential Oils

From time to time, Using Essential Oils Instant Websites is contacted by visitors arriving at our corporate site looking to purchase dōTERRA products and/or looking for a local Wellness Advocate to help them with their purchase. Note: This only pertains to the visitors that come to our corporate site and does not pertain to the visitors who come to your site directly.

If they were sent to our site by a Using Essential Oils subscriber/Wellness Advocate and arrived at the corporate site by accident, we recommend that they contact that person to help them with their purchase. If not, as a courtesy, we offer to refer them to one of our Using Essential Oils subscribers in their area. We then send an email to a local subscriber, including the visitors contact information, in order to contact this visitor directly. There is no cost to the visitor or to the subscriber.

This idea works well for everyone involved and we would like all of our subscribers to participate, however, we have found that some of our subscribers do not reply to our referrals, and so we’re concerned that the visitor is not contacted in a reasonable time, which creates a bad impression and loss of a potential customer.

So that we can ensure that our referrals are followed-up, in order for you to participate, you must meet the following requirements:


  1. First, we need to ensure that you receive a customer referral in your inbox and not your spam box.  In order to do this, you must add to your email address book. Find out how to do this for all major email service providers at this Link.
  1. Reply to this newsletter or any email that we have sent to you and let us know you have completed this task and would like to be added to the list. Until we receive your confirmation, you will not be included in the network.
  1. Follow-Up & Acknowledgement of Referrals.
      1. Agree that you will follow-up with the referral as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours after receipt of the referral email.
      2. Acknowledge referral email and confirm your follow-up.  So that we will know that you have received our referral message and that you have followed-up on it, you will need to acknowledge and confirm by either:
        1. adding [email protected] on either the Cc. or Bcc referral follow-up email; or
        2.  reply to the referral email that we sent you and confirm acceptance and follow-up of the referral.

    If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we will forward the referral to another Wellness Advocate so the customer is not left hanging.
